On Friday, Boston College?s Jerry York had the opportunity to win his 925th career game behind the bench, breaking the all-time record for victories in a college hockey coaching career. Instead, the Eagles gave up a tying goal to Providence College with just 11 seconds left in the game, seeing the chance slip through their fingers in heartbreaking fashion.
For now, Boston College has a break until Dec. 29, but NESN Daily?s own Jamie Erdahl caught up with York after the tie, who in typical fashion deflected attention away from his personal achievements and onto the No. 2 ranked Eagles. Check out the interview in the video above.
